Bed bugs are stressful. They hide during the day, come out at night and can spread from room to room before you know they're there.

Having bed bugs doesn't mean your home is dirty. They travel in luggage, bags, clothing and used furniture, and they turn up in clean houses, condos and apartments.

Our job is to find where they're hiding, treat those spots thoroughly and help you keep them from coming back.

Signs of a bed bug problem

Bed bugs are small, flat and reddish-brown — about the size of an apple seed. Most people notice the signs before they ever see a bug. Look for:

  • Bites on your skin

Itchy red bites, often in a line or small cluster, on skin that's exposed while you sleep. Not everyone reacts, and bites alone can't confirm bed bugs. That's what the inspection is for.

  • Rust or dark spots

Small rust-coloured or dark spots on mattress seams, sheets, the bed frame or nearby wood furniture.

  • Shed skins

Pale, empty shells left behind as bed bugs grow. Check seams, corners and the joints of the bed frame.

  • Live bugs or eggs

Bed bugs or tiny white eggs tucked into seams, cracks and screw holes, usually close to where you sleep.

  • Signs beyond the bed

As numbers grow, signs show up on sofas, headboards, baseboards and behind picture frames.

Bed bugs in condos and apartments

In condos, apartments and other shared buildings, bed bugs can move between units through walls, hallways and shared laundry rooms.

If you rent or live in a condo, tell your landlord or property manager as soon as you suspect bed bugs. Neighbouring units may need to be checked too, and acting early keeps the problem smaller.

We work with tenants and owners. We can work with property managers and landlords where coordination is part of our service.

Our bed bug treatment process

Bed bugs hide in tiny cracks, and their eggs are hard to reach. A quick spray rarely solves the problem, so we work through it step by step.

  1. Step 1: Inspect

We check mattress seams, box springs, bed frames, headboards, furniture and baseboards to confirm bed bugs and see how far they've spread.

  2. Step 2: Plan

We explain what we found, which rooms need treatment and how to prepare. You receive a quote and approve the price before any treatment begins.

  3. Step 3: Treat

We use steam and vacuuming on mattresses, furniture and seams, then targeted residual applications in the cracks and gaps where bed bugs hide.

  4. Step 4: Follow up & prevent

Follow-up visits may be recommended or included depending on the service package. We also share tips to lower the risk of bringing bed bugs home again.

How to prepare for bed bug treatment

Good preparation helps the treatment reach every hiding spot. You'll usually be asked to:

  • Launder your bedding, then bag it.
  • Reduce clutter so we can reach the places bed bugs hide.
  • Give us access to the treatment areas.
  • Speak to us before throwing out a mattress or furniture that may be infested.

Final preparation instructions will be provided based on the treatment method and product requirements.

Common questions

Is the estimate free?
Yes. You can get a free estimate online or by phone, with no obligation. You receive a quote and approve the price before any treatment begins.
How many visits will it take?
It depends on how many rooms are affected and how long the bed bugs have been there. Follow-up visits may be recommended or included depending on the service package.
Do I need to leave my home during treatment?
Your technician will advise you about safety precautions, any temporary vacancy requirement and the correct re-entry time before treatment.
Do I need to throw out my mattress?
Not necessarily. Mattresses and furniture may be treatable rather than thrown out, depending on their condition, the level of infestation and the treatment method. Please speak to us before throwing out furniture that may be infested. Carrying it through your home or building can spread bed bugs.
Can I get rid of bed bugs myself?
Washing and hot-drying bedding helps, but it won't reach bed bugs hiding in furniture, cracks and baseboards. Store-bought sprays can also push them into other rooms. If you think you have bed bugs, get in touch so we can confirm it and plan the right treatment.
Do you treat condos and apartments?
Yes. We treat bed bugs in houses, townhomes, condos and apartments across Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto and the GTA. In shared buildings, let your property manager or landlord know early so neighbouring units can be checked if needed.
Is there a warranty?
Service warranty available, conditions apply. Subject to following our preparation and prevention recommendations.
